ISOLA NEIGHBOURHOOD

I have been documenting the gentrification process of Isola neighbourhood in Milan, for many years now and in various forms. Here is what happened so far. It all started with a temporarely abandonded newspaper kiosk and an exibition, it was May 2012.
The exhibition stayed open day and night, the kiosk became a meeting point.

SUPPORT YOUR LOCALS

‘Support Your Locals’ is a neighbourhood art publication that visually explores the life of a historycal tiny working class neighbourhood, being gentrified, right in the center of Milan, Italy.
The publication started in 2013 after an exibition in a temporarely abandoned newspaper kiosk.
Every issue explores a different theme. ‘Nature’, ‘The Night’ and ‘Snow’ have been released already, in 2017 four new
issues will explore: ‘Architecture’, ‘Food’, ‘Memory’ and ‘Art’. Support Your Locals’ is a project by Lorenzo Tricoli & Micamera. It has been exibited in 2013 @ Lucca Photolux festival and in 2014 @ Savignano SiFest.
You can follow the project also through a FB page
